What you're seeing: The Poincare ball visualization shows the agent (dot) moving from the safe center toward the boundary. The harmonic wall (H = R^(d^2)) creates a cost explosion near the edge.

Intent matters: Negative intent amplifies the cost via a gamma factor. A hostile agent at d=0.5 pays much more than a benign agent at the same distance.
